About Us
WM Business Futures Ltd brings together a unique mix of public and private sector knowledge, and skills. This site was created by a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, a Business Trainer and Entrepreneur, with over 25 years of experience supporting more than 1000 businesses and new start ups. There is no magic formula to business success, however it is possible to learn 'best practice' principles from many of the businesses we come into contact with on a regular basis.
As a business manager you need to develop the skill to recognise how to improve your business on an ongoing basis to maximise your profits, and keep your customers happy. Not everything will be right for your businesses and at times there will be the need to adapt some of the knowledge shared to your own particular business.
Underlying principles - if it doesn't feel right don't do it. But don't be afraid to give things a try, remember if you do the same today as you did yesterday then you may achieve the same results as you did yesterday, but this does not help you to move forward and make your business fitter.
We recognise that fitness has to be worked at, be this individually or in your businesses and that everyone will start from a different level and have different goals. That is why we ask you as your 1st fitness exercise to benchmark your business, so that you have some way of measuring how successful any changes you make are within your businesses.
Our aim is to make all the businesses, which use this site fitter, for themselves, and for the people who work in those businesses. To earn more, learn more and contribute to the local economy through job creation, and innovation. Local contacts will be important for this to happen, but as the site grows we would like to think that wider opportunities would occur.
As the site grows we will bring together the experience of hundreds of entrepreneurs, and professional organisation all wanting to make your business fitter.
